These are the first two of four Twilight bookmarks my sister has asked me to design for her, front and back, for a Christmas gift. The ones for Eclipse and Breaking Dawn will follow when I finish them, and then said sister and I plan to print all of them onto glossy cardboard and perhaps cover them in contact.
I think they're going to look great, but I'd like to hear the opinions of my much more artistic and Twilight-obsessed friends first. Thanks, guys!
Wow! -dies- I absolutely love all of your photoshop artwork! Your style is so amazing and unique! Definitely a favorite!!!
(Y'know, I bet if you made more of these with the intention of selling them, people would totally buy them. They're that awesome - certainly much better than the bookmarks that are currently being sold at the bookstores around here! )
Thanks so much, dear! And it's so good to hear from you too!! *hugs*
I wouldn't be able to sell these for profit as the images are not my own. Here there is limited Twilight merchandise, we haven't seen anything in the way of bookmarks so that's why my sister asked for them. She likes that they'll be unique.
You're very welcome! Nice to hear from you as well!
Yeah, that would make sense. Still, your sister is right - they certainly will be unique. (The bookmarks over here are... lacking certain desirable qualities. Like the fact that they're totally unoriginal, and only have the picture of the character with the word "Twilight" under it.)
You're freeeee! *pokes head out of purse and dances*
And thanks for the crisp comment - I tried to make them as crisp as possible so that they'll look good once printed. The resolution is the standard 300ppi and the PS canvas size is even larger than above, 4.5x15 cm from memory.
So as you can appreciate, I'm having a lot of trouble finding images large enough for the next two, ones that also 'feel' like the books for which promotional shots don't yet exist. Harder still is finding remotely clear cover images... We'll see how it all goes...
Oh! Tell me if you'd like to print any for yourself, I can send the huge file.

Hmm... I'm not really in need of a bookmark now, but I'll definitely let you know if I want to print one!
If I don't get the chance to talk to you again soon -- Merry Christmas!
